Not much information was released, however it was said to include a PowerPC processor, 12″ screen, solid-state memory for storage, external video support, USB, wireless, and other standard ports.

The hardware will be sourced and suited to Hyperions’ specifications from an OEM manufacturer, and the price target is $300-$500 USD including the AmigaOS 4.1 license.

The AmigaOS Team Lead Developer, Steven Solie, said AmigaOS 4.1 was already booting on a prototype version of the Netbook.

Further details will be announced as the release date approaches.
