Blender now compatible with AmigaOS 4.1 Classic

Andy Broad has updated the rendering application Blender so it will now work with AmigaOS 4.1 Classic.  Read the news article at Amigans.net and download it from OS4Depot.  It is recommended that if you have only 128MB of ram to use a swap partition or ZorRAM card as Blender needs lots of memory.

Oh yes….2048x1152x32 bit resolution…amazing running this on your Amiga 4000 with AmigaOS 4.1 Classic!

Warning: Screenshot is 1.1MB and 2048×1152 pixels!

TIP: correct your Amiga's clock

Battery dead in your Amiga? No problem in OS 4.1 Classic.  Add the following line to your s:Startup-Sequence file just after C:AddNetInterface.

C:Run >nil: Date SERVER time.windows.com PORT 123

Save the file and reboot.

Now your Amiga will get the correct time from the time.windows.com time server.

time.windows.com can be substitued for another ntp server on the net if you prefer.

Thanks to Carl Moppett for the tip!
